During this pandemic time, Holy Family fully supports and has worked to implement the protocols and safe practices that have been outlines by the Chief Health Officer, the minister of Health & Social Services, and Government of the Northwest Territories. We believe that the safety of all people is at the heart of the gospel.
Throughout the pandemic, we have continued to provide opportunities for people to worship online, knowing that even though we are permitted to worship together in person, not everyone is able to, or wants to.
Our little chapel allow us to practice safe physical distancing for up to 25 people with Proof of Vaccination. If we think w are having a larger service, we will likely be found across the hall in the auditorium at Northern United Place (NUP) for an in-person service at 9:30am. There we have seating for up to 40 people (80with POV).
When you arrive at the church, you will be greeted by our hosts who will, ask a few screening questions. If you have a cold, or any symptoms of Covid-19, we will kindly ask you to head back home and come back whey you are feeling better. After signing in and sanitizing, you can grab your bulletin and find a seat. All chairs will be distanced appropriately.
Masks are mandatory throughout the service for all people school aged and up. We invite you to bring your own reusable masks, but will have a few disposable masks available should you need them. Each service includes Holy Communion.
We have lots of ways of including kids in worship and providing them with learning opportunities during a portion of the service including craft time, stories, kid’s bulletins, and children’s message.
